Afterglow, and then so.

Had a slow day today, contemplative. Something I find that is inevitable when I show work is a kind of melancholy that immediately follows it. It is as if something has now left you and time needs to be given to grieving.

Silent Doors.

I had a pretty good FaceBook show last night, I saw quite a few more viewers in my numbers than I anticipated (117 at this moment). It would still be much more comfortable if I had someone handling the video and broadcast side. Way too many buttons to keep track of!

Bifurcation, not updownaround.

Today was spent gathering myself, thinking more deeply about the material I have been collecting. And now, as I listen to Nurse With Wound‘s Stereo Wastelands, I realize that I must stay on this course, remain confident. Steven Stapleton, Nurse With Wound, has a unique approach using samples from popular culture and incredibly effective noises from the surroundings.

Moor Mischief

My set-up is getting more refined and I am getting much better recordings for the purpose of streaming or putting things online with decent quality. This is not so much about what you see me doing… please close your eyes if you will… it is about the sounds as they surround you.

‘Tis a fine morning

And as a bonus, the unvideoized version, needed to be a bit shorter to permit upload. These will all be part of an album to be available at BandCamp.

Tentatively Waiting at the Dock.

There is always some stuff happening between the other stuff’s happenings.

The Wind in my Veins

2020-07-13 by GedeonCom Leave a Comment

My post is a little late, not the usual 23:23 time slot, lots of rendering and tweaking last night so I am getting at this first thing. Not much to say with words today, but the work is quite well suited to replace my words. Besides, words are for categorizing and controlling according to Burroughs.

Work in Progress

Yesterday was a very busy day of capturing sounds and images. It was quite windy and many interesting ideas came from that.

Ideally, you listen to this while watching that…
